For school camps, two dedicated full-time program staff are available throughout your stay to coordinate and facilitate activities, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience from start to finish. Activity costs are itemised in our price list and can be incorporated into your personalised quote.
Drawing on Burnside’s unique setting and the stunning surrounding coastal environment, our programs are designed to encourage teamwork, confidence, resilience, leadership, and a deeper connection with nature.

Hosting Capacity
Burnside comfortably accommodates up to 114 guests, with 18 heated rooms sleeping 100 campers and two charming teepees accommodating a further 14. Room sizes vary, catering for groups of 2 to 8 people, making it easy to find the perfect fit for your stay.
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, please bring your own sleeping bag or bedding, sheets, blankets, towels, toiletries, personal essentials, and a torch.

- Multi-Purpose Recreation Hall – A flexible venue featuring a large-screen projection system, DVD, HDMI connectivity, and PA system. Ideal for presentations, conferences, worship sessions, indoor activities, and games, with seating for up to 100 guests and an adjacent lounge area.
- Outdoor Campfire Amphitheatre – A dedicated space for memorable campfire gatherings, storytelling, singing, and evening reflections under the stars.
- Teachers’/Leaders Lounge – A comfortable retreat featuring a self-contained kitchenette and refrigerator, providing staff and group leaders with a private space to relax and recharge.
